Ancient Secrets
Author: Raphael Wanka
System: D&D Darksun
Category: Fantasy
Type: Campaign
The adventure begins in the streets of the city of Nibenay. There is the rumor that the House of M'ke is hiring mercenaries to protect a caravan that is going to Tyr. They are paying 5cp per day! So much for a simple trip to Tyr, AND, for those who agree, they give food for the entire trip and a kank that the person may keep after the voyage

In a simple and easy going style, Raphael tells a story of past and future, of a challenging story that begins humble enough until it escalates to the action packed ending... A great story resorcefully told and well placed. Excellent work!!!

The adventure begins by detailing a player's history. That is a limiting factor, especially when you RP with experienced players who decide that for themselves. The quest necessitates having items that were given to the player in early age. Another limiting factor that causes difficulty when trying to adapt it.

Further, it's unrealistic. The basic plotline is OK, however epic. The stuff of powergamers that fight with the Gods and evil incarnate.

Descriptions and dialogue are excellent.
As a story writer, you're at a good beginning.

This is really good...this could be used for an entire campaign, not just a couple of adventures.
The end of the adventure was very cleverly crafted, not giving any munchkins the chance to defeat Hamanu, just to destroy the artifact and escape.
On the whole, this is a well-rounded adventure, involving problem-solving, combat, *and* moral dilemmas.
Great work!
