This is definitely different! A scenario that doesn't try to make things look nicer than they are, a strong "survival of the fittest"-feel... and a very interesting idea in itself. It's dramatic, it's a successful attempt at inciting RPing instead of fighting - it's bound to pound some sense into the combat monkeys.

Then again, it may not be a good thing, if your troupé consists of whiny and/or violent combat monkeys...
