The Bitter Root Briar II
Author: Lang Waters
System: d20 Dungeons and Dragons
Category: Fantasy
Type: Scenario
Ipwhich has long been haunted by the forest that surrounds it--why do the trees whisper? Why do people sometimes vanish, only to reappear years later, completely mad and as young as they were the day they disappeared? Folklore holds that the answers are to be found on the other side of the Bitteroot Briar, the site of an ancient battle, where treasure is said to hang from the trees. But very few return from the briar, and the battle isn't over.

Interesting adventure... nice story, and a lot of action.

all that work and to include cheap "ms-paint" maps is an insult to your own work. why bother putting a 40+ page adventure together without maps to match your efforts. there are free mapping programs that you should have used instead of....

Great work, but I would've left the map out.

This was a GREAT adventure. The story was complex with plenty of action and detail.
Just because the maps were simple doesn't mean this adventure was bad! d20 is about story-telling, not pictures.
