A Hungry Season
Author: Molotov
System: Star Trek
Category: Science Fiction

A dangerous outbreak of Subjenix Flu, a virulent and contagious disease, in the Sector the Crew occupies (total coincidence). A strong outline - for what would make an interesting session! Although I don't play Star Trek I can use the themes in my own sci-fi campaign. Thanks!

I liked the basic idea, and would do some changes. One PC contracts a strange disease which could be interesting to RP: delusions, strange way of speaking, perhaps becoming psychotic or inwardly drawn. A cure is to be found on a distant medical outpost, but it is hijacked, and the only way to get it back is for another PC to face an enemy in physical, mortal combat. Throw in a few plot twists that allow the other PC's to aid in the behind the scenes battle, and it has many possibilities.
