| Shades of the Blade | | Author: Daron Patton | | System: Star Frontiers [filter] | | Category: Science Fiction [filter] | | Type: Hook [filter] | | Koraffo stared at the Khad’dan buried deep in Ulkunk’s amorphous corpse. He
was the sole survivor now. Why hadn’t he simply refused to follow the human
female’s orders? Why didn’t matter any more. The Hir-Kal would be coming for
him next. Then it could rest again.
The Yazirian sighed then dropped his blaster belt and blaster to the deck.
Lasers would be no use against such a phantom. According to legend nothing
was. The hissing song of his Khad’dan being swiftly drawn from its sheathe
echoed down the silent passageway. If an ancient evil wanted his life, it
would have to pass through ancient steel to take it.

| Wee-Willy Pinklestix | | Author: Keith Mclachlan | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | This adventure takes place at any crossroads situated in any non-arctic, civilised land that the DM could be using as his or her campaign setting. The adventure doesn’t contain any planned combat (although, like in real life, anything could happen) scenes, but it is of more a magical nature so characters should be well acquainted and have sufficient magic and magical items at their disposal. | | Views: (4422) [sort] | | Comments: (1) Rating: 9.0 [sort] | | 2000-05-22 08:31:16 [sort] |
| When travelling near evil... | | Author: Orri Eiríksson | | System: D&D Planescape [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Hook [filter] | | It is a well know fact among planewalking bloods that magic can and will fail sometimes when you are planewalking. In some places it happens a lot, in others it only happens in freak accidents. This adventure is a result of a plane shift / teleport spell or something similar that went awry. The pc´s use plane-traveling magic and arrive in the abyss.
