| Ruined Temple | | Author: Unknown | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | This campaign can take place ANYWHERE, as long as it's in a desert. | Ruins of Kraal, The | | Author: Katherine Wasson | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Based partly on "Thunder Rift" (TSR). The ruins lie in the heart of the Black Swamps. In former years Kraal was the stronghold of the evil wizard Kuzak. A group of white mages went to fight and kill Kuzak in order to restore peace to the realm of Melinir. They succeeded in their quest, but the magical forces were so great and devastating that the land surrounding Kraal sank and was filled by the nearby rivers forming a large evil swamp.

| Runaways | | Author: Dominic A. Covey | | System: Call of Cthulhu [filter] | | Category: Horror [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | This scenario, "Runaways", takes the investigators (and the Keeper) into another world, into the lives and minds of an alien intelligence - dolphins. The story revolves around four dolphins (five really), who were formerly part of a "cult" dedicated to both Father Dagon and Mother Hydra, somewhere in the South Pacific. Although most such servitors are bound mindlessly to their masters in the depths, called upon only to terrorize human fishermen or to act on the behalf of human cults, four of these dolphins began to realize, by some stroke of intelligence on their own part, their own capacity for goodness...but they have little time left to break the walls between man and dolphin before Mother and Father find them.

If they will hear him, he introduces himself as Pizari Farsight and asks them if their looking for employment. If so, he bids them to visit his tower tonight and he'll tell them what he needs done - "A small task for a capable party of adventurer's like yourselves." | Sculptor of the Mind | | Author: Jeffrey W. Kramer | | System: Star Trek [filter] | | Category: Science Fiction [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | This adventure was written in part to give the First Officer, a player character, an opportunity to sit in the big chair, making command decisions and taking charge during a ship-to-ship confrontation. Thus, the setup for this adventure has Captain Potrikos absent, leaving major decisions during the Episode up to the First Officer. | | Views: (7231) [sort] | | Comments: (1) Rating: 7.0 [sort] | | 2000-03-17 15:44:05 [sort] |
| Secret of Saltham Shore | | Author: Bob Hall | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | This scenario is designed for a party of low-level characters. It requires a balanced mix of investigative and combat skills, and favors heroes who think before acting. Secret of Saltham Shore is designed to be an introduction to a longer running campaign during a period of grave threats to the settled lands. Most of this adventure occurs in the manorial village of Saltham, at the edge of the Duchy of Irolo. But the scenario can easily be adapted to another remote coastal village located near a large bog. | | Views: (8797) [sort] | | Comments: (2) Rating: 7.5 [sort] | | 2000-04-05 12:15:29 [sort] |
